Services

Redfoot & Weber Construction works with homeowners across Chapel Hill and the surrounding Triangle on projects that range from a single room to a house built from the ground up. Our Construction service is the broad umbrella for that work: site preparation, foundations, framing, structural repairs, and the coordination of the trades that turn a set of drawings into a finished, permitted building. If you are not sure which category your project falls under, this is usually the right place to start the conversation.

For clients building a new home, our Residential Building work covers the whole process from early planning through final walkthrough. That includes reviewing your lot, working with your architect or designer, pulling permits through Orange County or the Town of Chapel Hill, and managing framing, roofing, mechanical systems, and finish work on a schedule you can follow. We keep you informed about what is happening on site each week and what decisions are coming up, so you are never guessing about the next step.

Older homes in Chapel Hill often need updating rather than replacing, and our Renovation and Remodeling service is built for that. Kitchens and bathrooms are the most common requests, but we also open up closed floor plans, finish basements and attics, replace windows and siding, and repair damage from water or age. We take care to protect the parts of the house you are keeping, and we plan the sequence so you can stay in your home during most of the work when that is practical.

Storage and parking come up constantly, which is why Garage Construction is a service of its own. We build attached and detached garages, single and multi-bay, with or without finished space above. That work includes the slab, framing, roofing, doors, and electrical, plus any grading or drainage the site needs. If you want the garage to match the trim, roofline, and siding of an existing house, we detail it that way from the start.

Accessory dwelling units are a good fit for many Chapel Hill lots, and our ADU Construction service covers both new standalone units and conversions of existing garages or outbuildings. These projects live or die on zoning and setback rules, so we look at those questions early, before you spend money on design. A well planned ADU can house family, provide rental income, or give you a quiet workspace separate from the main house.

We also handle Cabin Construction for wooded properties and weekend places, from simple single-room structures to fully insulated year-round buildings with plumbing and heat. Call or send us your plans, and we will walk the site with you and give you a clear picture of scope and schedule.
